David Zane Daniels, hails from a Surf Mecca called Raglan on New Zealand's North Island. It was here that he honed a love of the ocean, cultivated through numerous surf sessions and the odd fishing trip. Currently residing in Dunedin, he has embarked on a pioneering adventure that will take him around New Zealand's coast, on a hand shaped, multi-function board!

The Mission
He is currently shaping his expedition board with the capability to stand-up paddle, row and windsurf. It is hand made by David, and will be equipped with sails, paddles, GPS, cameras and even a solar shower!
To achieve this mammoth feat, he has entered a competition run by Steinlager in NZ called 'futures' which offers support to ideas that push the boundaries of life a little. You can vote for him here. (Must be over 18).
