This was, for one day, the collective of all skateboard, bmx, inline, and urban sport in Belfast....
Housed in an ex-shipyard warehouse, the Milestone Sessions was a sight to behold on Saturday past, you'll see from the photos below. The scale of the place, and the amount of work that the Ramprage and Squarepit boys put in to create the ramps is phenomenal. Pat on the back... We arrived on Friday night to set up, and they were at it, the next morning at 10, they had just finished. Committed eh?
New Beginnings
The talk has been on the streets of Belfast has been about the Bridges skatepark, but in a sense, the session managed to bring all aspects of the city out to take a look at urban sports in general. Families were well represented, and the grom's were putting in some fine moves. We have a lot to look forward to, persistence has paid off!
The Epic Stall
We decided to keep the stall in line with the theme of the surroundings; a bit post-industrial? We came into possession of 12 car tyres and two old wooden doors, which fitted in nicely with our 5ft high monster clothespeg. This drew a few glances throughout the day, not sure what people thought of it! We were loaded up with Sutsu Organic Clothing on the rail, and a load of C1rca and Etnies Skate shoes on the deck. Even managed to sticker up the longboard with a 0.5mm vinyl..
Northern Ireland weather being what it is, we were barraged by a downpour when we ventured outside, however the roof managed to hold most of the rain off. Forced in the end to set up a big green marquee tent to keep the merch from getting dripped on...

Make your mark
It was great to be a part of this pioneer event, we reckon it was the first of potentially many sessions. Can't wait to be involved in more things with BUS. If you recognise anyone in these pics, we have set up a Facebook album on our Epicstore page, 'Like' us, then browse the pics on the album to tag you or your mates.
Cheers for the support, we loved the clothespegs and stickers banter!
